Faced with rising grid tariffs and regional power instability, Younes Bros sought a sustainable infrastructure solution to secure operational resilience for their heavy manufacturing operations. Sustainable Energy Partners executed a comprehensive 111 kWp roof-mounted solar PV asset integrated into a high-capacity 164 kWh battery energy storage system. This customized hybrid framework was deployed to optimize localized energy generation, insulate heavy industrial machinery from voltage fluctuations, and establish long-term utility expenditure control across the manufacturing facility.

Operational Challenges & Logistics

Heavy manufacturing facilities operate under rigid electrical parameters where any layout change or deployment delay impacts factory throughput. Transforming an active facility roof space required strict safety compliance, structural loading assessments, and seamless integration with existing low-voltage switchgear. SEP’s specialized field crew managed full on-site logistics and mechanical rigging without interrupting daily factory production, ensuring all electrical configurations met strict international compliance criteria.

System Performance & Sustainability Impact

The successful turnkey handover of the hybrid infrastructure delivered immediate operational and environmental dividends. By localizing daytime generation and utilizing battery reserves for peak shaving, the facility has dramatically minimized its reliance on traditional grid power. The plant achieves an exceptional carbon offset, yielding 190 tons of annual CO2 emission savings. This project stands as a model of efficient commercial energy transition, proving how industrial manufacturing plants can achieve complete cost independence while lowering their carbon footprint.
